Our Company and Family History

For over 50 years, the Gorham family has been building homes for families in the Blaine area and across the northern suburbs of the Twin Cities.

Hundreds of buyers have put their trust in the Gorham name in designing and building their dream homes.

When Gary Gorham founded the company over five decades ago, he demanded perfection and craftsmanship in every step of the home-building process. Today, his son Mike is maintaining the hands-on approach that has kept Gorham Companies, one of the area’s most sought-after home builders.

Building Industry Awards

Each year, the Builder’s Association of the Twin Cities honors member builders for their excellence in homebuilding. Gorham Companies have been honored to receive many of these awards over the years.

Gorham Companies are proud to have been two-time winners of the prestigious “Builder of the Year” award, given by the Builders Association of the Twin Cities. This award is judged based on trust, communication, loyalty, and ethics in business dealings with member companies.

Throughout the years, the Gorham Companies have also been recipients of the Reggie Award of Excellence. This award was established to recognize outstanding achievements by member builders in the Builders Association of the Twin Cities. Reggie Award winners are judged by their toughest critics, fellow builders, on the home’s design, construction quality, and value.

The Gorham family has also won numerous Trillium Awards, which are given by the Builders Association of the Twin Cities to honor builder/subcontractor teams who work together to build your new home.
